A great fighting Tulwar from Punjab.
The steel hilt is blackened with a generous overlay of silver. The central grip covered entirely with a silver wash, with the remaining hilt depicting small flowers. The silver overlay contrasts to the blackened hilt and shines through. A unique design which is very appealing. The silver is 90% intact. The central vase like grip and slightly forward angle of the quillons indicate this hilt was from the Punjab region.
The forge folded steel is a fighting example. With a thick spine and sharp edge, the sword shows its status as a practical sword.
Accompanied with a new leather scabbard wrapped in black leather.
