A Rajasthani Tulwar with an elegant ‘Korbandi’ hilt. The hilt features an open guard hilt with gold koftgari. The gold kofrgari is against a darker hilt providing a great contrast. The gold work is in great condition and preservation with 90% in tact. Done is an almost 'diamond' studded way in silver to fill the centres and negative space. The blade is of a sirohi type made for function. Slender and typical with a cleaned finish. Some surface rust to the blade, but otherwise in good condition.
The Sword is accompanied with a new scabbard wrapped in velvet.
