A fantastic example of a Large Tegha.
The steel hilt is overlaid with silver work in geometric patterns throughout. Its pommel is complete with its knuckle guard with matching silver work. You’ll find this hilt is thicker than most, feeling very sturdy and large in the hand - almost twice the thickness of a normal hilt.
The blade is radically curved with a double fuller, showing signs of being forge folded steel. It has a very thick spine indicating this was a practical sword. Retains its sharp edge. Very minor play in hilt and blade joint but nothing serious.
Accompanied with a new blue velvet scabbard. A great sword overall.
