A complete Rajasthani Sirohi with its original Chandi (solid silver) chape.
The hilt is of traditional open guard form and maintains Rajasthani characteristics in design and silver work. The silver in the form of vines and flowers. Preserved 95% with minor loss. The hilt is large and comfortable in the hand. The blade is constructed of steel (possibly forge folded) and strong, maintaining its cutting edge. The new scabbard is wrapped in new red velvet however the original Chandi (solid silver) chape is from the original scabbard and fitted on this scabbard. The chape is embossed with flowers, deep cut into the solid silver. On the reverse are flowers and fines. A fantastic contrasting design.
